Earlier today, we published a long list of all the departures and arrivals Van Gaal has overseen, and in keeping with these themes of change and renewal, BeanymanSports has produced his first Man Utd montage, entitled ‘Welcome to the New Age’…

Sure, the soundtrack’s a bit dodgy and the editing isn’t the strongest we’ve ever seen, but with just 2 days till the season starts, it doesn’t take much to get our pulses racing and this little video has played its part.

There are some great highlights from last season, featuring an extremely prominent Fellaini, plus some decidedly moody footage of our new signings, and a liberal dose of monochrome.
