Martial vs Coleman: Today’s Key Battle?
[wp_ad_camp_2]
United’s last meeting with Everton saw the Reds walk away from Goodison Park with three points and three goals.
Although he didn’t get on the score sheet that afternoon, Anthony Martial definitely made an impression, beginning to show how dangerous he could be from the left and toasting Seamus Coleman all day long.
During the recent international break, Martial looked lively – this assist in his cameo against the Netherlands may have been the highlight…

As for Coleman – he captained Ireland for their 1-0 win over Switzerland, and some fans would like to see him wearing the armband for the Toffees next season…
I’d make Coleman captain next season, jagielka hasn’t got it in him, coleman more vocal and has started captaining Ireland

But is he a match for Martial, who has really made the left-inside-forward role his own since the two clubs last met? Today is a chance to regain some pride, but with Everton’s record at Old Trafford (one win in their last 22 trips), it doesn’t look good for him.
Elsewhere, the battle between Rashford and Jagielka could be an interesting one, whilst Blind should have another chance to prove he can deal capably with strikers in the Lukaku mould.
Do you expect Martial to destroy Coleman again today? Will United pick up where they left off against City? Let us know how you thing the game’s going to go!
