VIDEO: Youngster Josh Harrop Scores a Screamer for the U-21s VS Norwich
United’s Stockport-born skillful midfielder Josh Harrop scored a great goal tonight for the U-21s against Norwich at Carrow Road.
The game finished 1-1, but this was without doubt the standout moment…
Nick Powell also made his first appearance in a United shirt after his loan at Leicester was terminated amidst rumours of attitude issues, whilst the much-vaunted Ben Pearson was absent having joined Barnsley on loan. Hopefully we’ll see more of the extremely promising youngster next season if not before.

As for Josh Harrop, he’s described on ManUtd.com as a “real flair player with an eye for goal and confidence in his own ability,” and this is his first season in the under-21s after coach Paul McGuinness backed him to make the step up from U-18 team. He has set himself a target of 10 goals this term – so far, he’s got 2 from 6 appearances.
