Once again, David De Gea kept us in the game today with a string of excellent saves. God knows where we’d be sitting in the table without King Dave protecting our goal.

We’re all praying we can keep hold of our world class number 1 – he’s adored by the fans and just keeps getting better, and if we want to be great again, it’s vital that we don’t let him go. He has been United’s best player this season and last, and should be the foundation of whatever further rebuilding happens in the next couple of transfer windows.

herrera mata de geaAnd let’s not forget his adorable three-way bromance with Mata & Herrera – he may be the only one getting consistent game time right now, but Instagram would surely be a darker place without the Spanish trio.

Anyway, none of us need reminding of De Gea’s quality, but he certainly showed it again today.
